Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual warfare is the conflict between Gods people and evil spiritual beings (see: Ephesians 6:12). Satan and his demons try to defeat Gods people by harming them or trying to get them to sin. Gods people fight back by being faithful to God and obeying him no matter what happens to them. Paul used a metaphor of Christians putting on armor to protect themselves from Satans attacks (see: Ephesians 6:10-18). In spiritual warfare, angels help Gods people (see: 2 Kings 6:17). Also, angels fight against Satan and demons (see: Daniel 10:11, 13; Jude 1:9).

Advice to translators: A being is something that is alive, but it is not a person or an animal.
