detestable acts

This refers to acts that God hates and that people should hate.

I will give those things into the hand of strangers

The word "hand" is used to refer to control. "I will give those idols into the control of people they don't know" or "I will give those idols to people they don't know" (See: rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metonymy)

plunder

things that are stolen or taken by force

they will defile them

The strangers and wicked people will defile the idols that the people of Israel had made.

I will turn my face away

"I will not pay attention" or "I will look away" or "I will not notice"

my cherished place

"the place I love." This refers to God's temple.
