Hanker10 f6977bb696 Judges 5:11 change wording
Judges 5:11 change wording from "Hear the voices of those who divide up the sheep between the watering places" to what you see. This also is a VERY uncertain textual rendering since the 15 versions I check have widely different wordings. I chose a wording that resembles the UDB more closely, many English versions have it, and it makes better sense in the context.

Hanker10 204207d012 Judges 5:7 change wording
Judges 5:7 change wording to make better sense. The original is very uncertain here since it is the only use of the Hebrew word and sounds like other words that could make equally good sense. This choice makes clearer sense within the context.

Hanker10 a0d53c5bb5 Judges 2:6 correct wording
Judges 2:6 correct wording by adding "Now" before the sentence and "had" as the helping verb. This connotes that this parenthetical reference to Joshua is from a prior period to provide background for the following description of Israel's loss of covenantal obedience.

Hanker10 90765e1a0e Judges 2:2 change wording
Judges 2:2 change wording from "You must make no treaty with those who live..." to what you see because the same word (berith) is used. There is a special significance to "berith" or "covenant" with religious connotations. That's why there is the reference in the next sentence to "altars."
