Looks like both verbs should be present tense.

To me "give" sounds strange

That's fine. I think "give" sounds strange because a relative clause usually follows a noun or a third person pronoun. When it follows I, we, or you, I think we get thrown off. It looks like ESV and NASB went by sound. (NIV and NKJV avoided that awkwardness by adding "the One." NASB 1977 went with the archaic 2s form "to Thee, Who dost give savation")
