\v 18 For your know that God did not purchase you from the empty way of life that you learned from your ancestors. God did not purchase you with precious metals like silver or gold that are valuable today but will lose all their value in the end.
\v 19 Instead, God purchased you with the precious blood of Christ that flowed from his body when he died. Christ was like a perfect lamb that had no blemish or spot.
ISSUES:
(1) Wrong word "your" at beginning of v.18
(2) Separating v.18 into two sentences makes the first sentence of highly questionable accuracy. The combination of v.18 and v.19 indicates we have been redeemed from the futile behavior that we inherited from our ancestors.
By comparison, the ULB for this verse reads:
\v 18 You know that it was not with perishable silver or gold that you have been redeemed from the futile behavior that you inherited from your ancestors,
\v 19 but by the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.
SUGGESTIONS:
(1) Replace "your" with "you".
(2) Change "did not purchase" to "purchased" in the first sentence.
