Judges 5:13 change wording to cut "Mount Tabor" since that is not in the Hebrew (or ASV). The people came down from the highlands where they had been hiding from the oppressors.
Judges 5:7 change wording to make better sense. The original is very uncertain here since it is the only use of the Hebrew word and sounds like other words that could make equally good sense. This choice makes clearer sense within the context.
Joshua 3:1 change wording from "Yahweh left them there to test the Israelite people. But many of the Israelites in Canaan had not fought in any of the previous wars." to what you see so that the causal concept comes out more clearly.
Judges 2:17 change wording from "they gave themselves to the idols, acting like prostitutes who gave themselves to men who were not their husbands, and they worshiped those idols." to what you see because this is confusing.
Judges 1:12-14 change spelling of "Acsah" to comply with the ULB "Acsah." The 14 translations I consulted were evenly divided between both spellings. The Hebrew has the dagesh lene in the kaph, but this can be transliterated either way and also with a 'k' as in the NIV.
